About AVL

AVL CR is a professional voluntary organisation of veterinary doctors active in the Czech Republic.

The association was founded in the early 1990s and registered by the Ministry of the Interior on 1 February 1993. Since 2014 it has operated as a registered association under the Czech Civil Code.

Mission

The purpose of AVL CR is to support the professional and social position of veterinary doctors and to protect the professional, economic and social interests of its members.

Activities

• professional representation of veterinary doctors,
• support for communication among members,
• cooperation with partners in the veterinary field,
• professional events, statements and internal member communication.

Partners and European links

AVL CR cooperates with institutions and partners in the Czech veterinary environment and is a member of the European Association of State Veterinary Officers (EASVO), part of the Federation of Veterinarians of Europe (FVE).
